What sizes are included?

There are 12 sizes included, from 3"–10" (all approximate). You get every size in the download, so you can stitch the same design on a pocket or across a back.

How many stitches and colours is this design?

68,013 stitches at the 7" size and 8 thread colours. There are 16 colour changes in the stitch order, so that is how many times you will swap thread.

How much thread will I need?

At the largest stitched size this design uses roughly 1217 ft top thread · 450 ft bobbin. Smaller sizes use proportionally less. Treat it as a guide for topping up a colour before you start, not an exact figure.

What stabiliser and fabric should I use?

This is a dense design at roughly 1,800 stitches per square inch. Cut-away stabiliser is the safe choice. Best on stable, heavier fabrics — cotton twill, denim, fleece, sweatshirting.

Is this a patch or a finished item?

No. This is a digital embroidery design — a set of machine files you download. It is not a patch, a transfer, or any physical item, and nothing is posted to you. You will need an embroidery machine and a way to transfer the files to it.

How do I receive my files?

Instantly. Your download appears on the confirmation screen the moment payment clears, is emailed to you, and is saved in your account library so you can re-download it at any time.

Can I use this commercially?

Yes — choose the Small business or Extended commercial licence to sell finished items you stitch. The Personal licence covers gifts and items you keep.

The detail

Description

This design centres on a side-view football helmet with facemask and chin strap, finished with the eagle team logo and the "UNIVERSITY OF NORTH TEXAS EAGLES" decal across the shell. It has the unmistakable college-sports feel of the 1994–2005 North Texas Mean Green era, with green, white, black and grey leading the palette and blue and orange accents adding depth. It suits University of North Texas supporters, alumni and collectors who want a helmet graphic that reads clearly as football rather than a general mascot mark.

Because it is a dense, heavily stitched eight-colour design, it works best on sturdier fabrics that can carry the filled areas cleanly, such as denim jackets, canvas bags, varsity-style outerwear and sweatshirt fleece. The bold helmet shape and strong contrast also make it a good choice for the back or chest of a hoodie, the front of a tote, or a quilt block for a sports-themed keepsake. On the right base fabric, the layered stitching gives the facemask, eagle head and lettering a solid, substantial finish.
