What sizes are included?

There are 12 sizes included, from 3"–10" (all approximate). You get every size in the download, so you can stitch the same design on a pocket or across a back.

How many stitches and colours is this design?

31,666 stitches at the 7" size and 3 thread colours. There are 4 colour changes in the stitch order, so that is how many times you will swap thread.

How much thread will I need?

At the largest stitched size this design uses roughly 683 ft top thread · 281 ft bobbin. Smaller sizes use proportionally less. Treat it as a guide for topping up a colour before you start, not an exact figure.

What stabiliser and fabric should I use?

This is a light design at roughly 664 stitches per square inch. Tear-away stabiliser is the safe choice. Suits lighter wovens and quilting cottons.

Is this a patch or a finished item?

No. This is a digital embroidery design — a set of machine files you download. It is not a patch, a transfer, or any physical item, and nothing is posted to you. You will need an embroidery machine and a way to transfer the files to it.

How do I receive my files?

Instantly. Your download appears on the confirmation screen the moment payment clears, is emailed to you, and is saved in your account library so you can re-download it at any time.

Can I use this commercially?

Yes — choose the Small business or Extended commercial licence to sell finished items you stitch. The Personal licence covers gifts and items you keep.

The detail

Description

Show your classic Akron pride with this University of Akron design built around the leaping kangaroo mascot and the bold "THE UNIVERSITY OF AKRON" wordmark. The blue, gold and white palette gives it that recognisable collegiate look, while the banner shape and outlined roo keep the logo feeling crisp rather than fussy. It is a strong choice for alumni, students and supporters who want a sports-logo style that reads clearly at a glance.

Because it uses just 3 thread colours and is an open, lightly stitched design, it suits everyday fabrics without piling on unnecessary bulk. Stitch it on a varsity jacket, sweatshirt, quarter-zip, tote bag or the front of a backpack where the large block lettering and jumping mascot can do the work. With 12 size options from 3" to 10", it can sit neatly on a cap panel or scale up well for the back of a jacket.
