Bring playful character to children’s makes with this purple cartoon dinosaur holding a football, stitched with a bright green belly, spotted back and a wide, friendly smile. The large eyes and simple, rounded shapes give it the unmistakable storybook feel young dinosaur fans love, while the football adds a sporty twist that suits school-age children especially well. It is a strong choice for anyone sewing for a child who likes both classic TV-style characters and football-themed details.
This design would sit nicely on sweatshirts, pyjama bags, backpacks and quilted play mats, where the bold purple outline and black details can read clearly at a glance. With 6 thread colours and a moderately dense build, it has enough detail to keep the face lively without becoming fussy on everyday fabrics like cotton, fleece and stable knitwear. The range of 12 sizes from 3" to 10" makes it easy to use as a small chest motif or a larger feature on the back of a hoodie or a bedroom cushion.
