Bring storybook mischief to Halloween stitching with this elegant evil pumpkin face, drawn with slanted eyes, a tiny nose and a jagged grin. The thick outline and clear segment lines give the jack-o'-lantern a bold, readable shape, while the curved stem keeps it recognisably pumpkin rather than just spooky. It suits children’s Halloween makes especially well, because the expression feels playful and cartoonish rather than truly frightening.
With four thread colours and a moderately dense build, it should stitch with good definition on sweatshirts, pyjamas, trick-or-treat totes and fabric buckets. The orange, black, yellow and cream palette will stand out best on black, charcoal, cream or autumn-toned cottons and fleeces. It is a strong choice when you want one central motif on the front of a top, the pocket area of a bag, or the back of a lightweight jacket.
